The University zip code wraps the Ole Miss campus and stretches out toward the Whirlpool plant and the industrial park off Highway 6 East, so we work a mix of campus-adjacent rental houses, faculty homes near the Grove, and commercial lots that need clearance around loading docks and parking lots.
A lot of the tree stock here was planted when the university expanded in the 1960s and 70s, so we're dealing with mature water oaks and pin oaks now hitting sixty years old, right at the age where heart rot starts showing up in the trunk and big limbs start failing without warning.

Campus-adjacent property challenges
Rental houses near campus get heavy foot and car traffic, so we schedule drops and chip-outs around class change times and football Saturdays when All American Drive backs up for miles. Faculty neighborhoods tend to have older, well-established oaks that owners want pruned for shape rather than removed outright.
Commercial and industrial lots
Properties near the Whirlpool plant and the Highway 6 East industrial corridor need tree clearance around truck routes and utility easements. We work with facility managers on scheduled trimming cycles so limbs don't encroach on loading dock clearance or sightlines at intersections.
What people call about most
Overhanging limbs on rental roofs, pin oaks dropping large dead branches in yards near Coliseum Drive, and stump grinding after a landlord finally has a dead tree taken down between tenants.
