Downtown Main Street properties
Storefronts and homes near Main Street have narrow lots and older pecan and oak trees that have outgrown their space, dropping limbs on roofs and awnings. We work carefully around parked cars and foot traffic in the historic district when doing removals here.
Storm and soil patterns
Yalobusha County sits in a corridor that catches a lot of the same spring storm systems that hit Oxford, and the rolling hills around Water Valley mean water collects in low spots along Blackmur Drive and near the rail yard, softening root systems on older oaks.
Utilities and access
Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association and the city's own utility department both have infrastructure through town depending on the block, and we coordinate line clearance differently for downtown versus the outlying county roads.
