Young tree structural pruning
New plantings around Oxford subdivisions and Ole Miss rental properties often get planted and then ignored. A few minutes of corrective pruning a year for the first five years saves a lot of expensive limb failure once the tree matures.
Crown cleaning
Removing dead, diseased, and damaged wood from the canopy, which reduces the amount of deadfall in wind events and takes out entry points for decay fungi.
