Taylor is old river-bottom and hill country south of Oxford along Old Taylor Road, and the properties out here run from restored depot-era cottages in the village itself to big timber tracts and hunting camps back in the hardwood bottoms near the Yocona River.
A lot of what we do in Taylor involves clearing for food plots, thinning pine stands that got planted too thick twenty years ago, and taking down big bottomland hardwoods that have started to hollow out near camp houses and deer stands.

Timber and hunting camp work
Landowners along Tula Road and back toward the Yocona bottoms call us for select cutting around deer stands, clearing shooting lanes, and removing hollowed hardwoods that have become a hazard near camp houses. We also handle pine thinning on tracts planted in the 1990s that are now overcrowded and stressed.
Village and river bottom properties
The village around Taylor Grocery has older cottages with big shade trees close to structures, while properties down toward the river bottom flood seasonally, which softens root systems on sycamores and river birch and makes them prone to leaning after high water recedes.
Access constraints
Many properties out here are reached by gravel roads or long gated driveways, so we plan equipment access ahead of time, especially during wet months when Tula Road and the smaller gravel spurs get soft.
